Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Production Planner to join our manufacturing team. In this vital role, you will orchestrate the production schedule, ensuring seamless coordination across departments to meet customer demands and optimize operational efficiency.

Shifts: 8.30 AM till 5 PM and 2.30 PM on a Friday (37.5 hours)

Responsibilities
  • Plan, schedule and track all production jobs, ensuring accurate data entry and effective use of resources to meet delivery targets.
  • Manage weekly production planning, considering time, priority, capacity and resource availability.
  • Oversee production resources to ensure contracts are delivered on time, within budget and to maximise facility productivity.
  • Capture and maintain production data for SAP Confirmations, KPIs and continuous improvement.
  • Release weekly SAP job cards and picklists for both Sign and Telent production.
  • Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 and maintain all tools, equipment and statutory inspections.
  • Attend H&S meetings and communicate relevant information to the team.
  • Manage production-related health and safety systems.
  • Liaise weekly with Telent on four-week production planning.
  • Assemble and issue accurate job packs.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in production management within a manufacturing environment, with strong knowledge of plant management practices.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, etc) and SAP.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a focus on detail-oriented planning and execution.
  • Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively across departments and lead cross-functional teams.

Full-time, Temp to perm- at least 2 months due to sickness but could be extended

Pay: From £15.38 per hour
