Job summary

A manufacturing company in Kingsteignton is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee the performance of the manufacturing line. Job description
Production Supervisor

As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the performance of the manufacturing line within your designated zone. You will lead and support your team to achieve key operational metrics, while ensuring the highest standards of Health & Safety, Quality, Continuous Improvement, and Environmental Compliance are consistently maintained.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Ensure company policies, procedures, and key performance indicators (KPIs) are fully implemented and achieved.
  • Develop, implement, and manage production plans, schedules, and strategies to meet operational objectives.
  • Coordinate and assign daily tasks to production staff, ensuring all training and competency requirements are met.
  • Conduct training needs analyses and manage skill development as part of daily operations.
  • Promote effective communication between shifts, ensuring accurate and detailed handovers.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives to enhance efficiency, safety, and quality performance.
  • Act as Deputy to the Production Manager, providing cover during holidays or absences.

Salary: £29k - £35k (Experience dependant)

Hours: 6am-4pm Mon - Thurs (40 hours)
