Production Planner
Day-to-day of the role
  • Plan and oversee daily production schedules using SAP and related ERP/MRP systems.
  • Coordinate daily planning activities with Production Crew Leads, Supervisors, and Senior Crew.
  • Work closely with other department heads to improve operational efficiency.
  • Maintain and update lead times, communicating any changes across departments.
  • Implement and monitor good manufacturing practices, HACCP, and hygiene standards.
  • Utilise demand forecasts to optimise production efficiency.
  • Manage urgent customer requests and integrate them into production schedules where feasible.
  • Supervise preventative and corrective maintenance of machinery and utilities.
  • Coordinate with external technicians or contractors when necessary.
  • Assist with scheduling work shifts and monitor team performance.
  • Promote high morale and communicate the company's operating policies, customer issues, and safety measures.
  • Foster a positive, safety-first culture within the team.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Proven experience in production planning within a manufacturing environment.
