Job summary

A specialist Engineering company in Irvine is seeking a Production Planner to join their growing team on a full-time, permanent basis. The role involves producing work orders according to engineering drawings, participating in departmental improvements, and ensuring timely documentation. Candidates should have previous experience in an engineering/manufacturing environment, with planning experience being desirable. This position offers a structured work schedule from Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years' previous planning experience is desirable.
• Knowledge of computer databases and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to work independently under pressure.

Contek Recruitment are currently working with a specialist Engineering company, based in Irvine. Due to continued growth and success, they are recruiting for a Production Planner to join their growing team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday (07:30 AM until 16:30 PM) and Friday (07:30 AM until 12:30 PM)

Duties and Responsibilities

• Produce work orders (Manufacturing Routing) in accordance with customer engineering drawings and specifications using company ERP System.
• To continually participate in improvement within the department in order to meet the needs of the business.
• Ensure all documentation is issued to the shop floor in a timely manner via work to lists.

Requirements

• Previous experience of working in an engineering/manufacturing environment
• 2-3 year's previous planning experience is desirable.
• Knowledge of computer databases and manufacturing processes are an advantage
• Responsiveness and ability to work to tight deadlines/schedules.
• Be able to work independently under pressure
