Overview

Are you an experienced Production Planner with great ERP/MRP skills? This Production Planner role is for you. This role is for a manufacturing company in Andover. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5pm, with an early Friday finish. The role is full-time on-site and paying up to £50,000 depending on experience.

Responsibilities
  • Contribute toward achieving smooth, efficient manufacturing operations.
  • Build clear production plans and manage priorities.
  • Analyse data and drive continuous improvement across quality, cost and delivery metrics.
  • Oversee planning schedules, coordinate with production and engineering teams.
  • Manage material availability through MRP systems.
  • Monitor KPIs, identify bottlenecks and support equipment utilisation.
  • Play a vital role in cross-departmental collaboration, ensuring all changes are well-documented and effectively implemented.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical thinking, organisation and leadership skills.
Requirements
  • Previous experience with ERP/MRP systems.
  • Previous experience creating production plans, managing material availability and internal department communication.
  • Experience within Electronics/Electrical manufacturing is desirable.
  • Lean/Six Sigma training is advantageous.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
