Responsibilities
  • Perform entry-level production tasks with supervision, including preparation of raw materials and packaging, identifying quantities and transporting them to the appropriate production area; report deviations and note start/finish of processes.
  • Operate processing equipment in line with process instructions and procedures.
  • Monitor equipment to maintain run rates and ensure consistent production.
  • Complete initial testing and release of products to ensure there are no deviations from specifications.
  • Check labels and packaging materials; ensure correct labeling following existing rules and instructions.
  • Package final products according to instructions and H.B. Fuller quality standards.
  • Comply with Quality Standards and Operating Procedures; observe all legal and company EHS rules.
  • Maintain housekeeping in the area of responsibility.
  • Perform any other duties requested by the Production Manager/Supervisor.
Minimum Requirements
  • Basic educational degree or high school diploma or general education diploma.
  • No prior experience required.
  • Knowledge of common software programs (MS Office).
  • Ability to read and understand work orders, production processes, safety regulations and quality procedures and instructions.
  • Availability to work in shifts.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1 year of experience in an industrial environment.
  • Understanding of basic English.
Physical Environment
  • Required to stand for long periods of time.
  • Walk and climb stairs; use hands to remove or lift boxes; stretch and reach with arms extended; stoop and bend.
  • Regularly lift up to 50 pounds and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
  • Temperature, dust, smell and noise at normal chemical environment levels.
