Job summary

Sibelco Group in Brassington is seeking a production operator to ensure installations perform the designated operations and to monitor production in accordance with procedures.

You will handle and adjust installations, fix alerts, perform quality checks, and support maintenance activities to guarantee a (semi-)finished product meeting specifications. The role requires a lower degree or experience and technical English; permanent, on-site position.

Qualifications

• Lower degree in high school or equivalent by experience.
• Prior experience in a similar role.
• Technical English – Read and comprehend.

Responsibilities

• Handle and adjust installations according to procedures and policies.
• Serves pumps, opens and closes taps, etc.
• Fix alerts and monitor production quality checks.
• Analyse production data to ensure product meets specifications.
• Identify non-conformities and guide colleagues to quality results.
• Control the amount of product produced by an installation.
• Carry out supporting tasks in line with procedures and supervision.
• Assist maintenance technicians and electricians when needed.
• Coordinate with weighbridge and bagging operators for continuity.
• Ensure PPE usage and safekeeping as per safety policy.
