Job summary

New Appointments Group is seeking a Production Operative in Dover to support an active manufacturing line. You will operate cutting, extrusion and laminating machinery, monitor processes, and perform quality checks on finished products in a busy factory setting.

Full training will be provided, with a 4 on/4 off pattern and rotating day/night shifts. The role involves hands-on work, adherence to safety procedures, and teamwork to hit daily production targets.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery including cutting, extrusion, and laminating equipment.
• Monitor production processes to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Carry out quality checks on finished products.
• Handle aluminium and steel composite materials safely.
• Perform basic machine checks and report faults.
• Follow health and safety procedures and wear PPE.
• Keep the production area clean, organised and safe.
• Work with colleagues to achieve daily production targets.
