Job summary

Bodycote plc is seeking a Production Operator to support the safe and efficient operation of HIP vessels, handling loading/unloading and documentation. You will work closely with Production, Maintenance and Quality teams to ensure smooth operations on each shift.

The role is onsite with three 8-hour shifts: 6am–2pm, 2pm–10pm and 10pm–6am, offering development opportunities within a global heat treatment and thermal processing specialist.

Qualifications

• Good general education with literacy, numeracy and IT skills.
• Experience in production/manufacturing environment is desirable.
• Willingness to learn new equipment and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Support safe and efficient operation of HIP vessels and loading/unloading.
• Complete production documentation accurately and support Goods In/Despatch activities.
• Collaborate with Production, Maintenance and Quality teams to keep operations running smoothly.
• Assist with general production tasks, maintenance, housekeeping and training on new equipment.
