Job summary

A manufacturing company in Wallsend is seeking Production Operators to set up, run, and monitor production machinery ensuring adherence to quality standards. Candidates must have experience in a heavy manufacturing environment and be confident in operating production machinery. The role includes adherence to Health & Safety regulations and thorough documentation throughout the production process, working Monday to Friday with rotating shifts.

  • Support assembly and testing activities as directed by the shift supervisor.
  • Work to established Standard Operating Instructions (SOIs) and Risk Assessments for all production tasks.

The Role:

We're looking for Production Operators to set up, run and monitor our production machinery, ensuring all work is completed accurately and in line with our quality standards. You'll also be responsible for maintaining the required documentation throughout the manufacturing process.

  • Maintain required documentation throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Follow all Health & Safety regulations.
  • Ensure tooling and equipment are returned to their designated areas.
  • Support assembly and testing activities as directed by the shift supervisor.
  • Work to established Standard Operating Instructions (SOIs) and Risk Assessments for all production tasks.
Ideal Candidate:

Experience in a heavy manufacturing environment and confident operating a range of production machinery.

Working Hours:
  • Monday-Friday
  • Week 1: 6am-2pm
  • Week 2: 2pm-10pm
  • (38 hours per week)
