Job description

Salary: £25,400 + 15% shift premium
Shift: 3 shift cycle (nights, evenings, days)
Overtime: Shifts available (paid at x1.5 and x2 on Sunday)

Job Summary

To responsibly carry out the functions of any role trained to do in the production of medical device components whilst demonstrating a proactive learning mindset whilst supporting Team Leaders and Manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Required:
    • Competent in written and verbal use of the English language
    • Competent in basic numeracy
  • Desirable:
    • Technical Operator apprenticeship or similar
    • Experience of working in a manufacturing environment
    • Level 2 Health & Safety accreditation
    • Full knowledge of West products and their functions
    • English Language Level 2 qualification (written and verbal)
    • Numeracy Level 2 qualification

5%: Up to 13 business days per year

Physical Requirements

Medium-Exerting up to 50lb/22kg of force occasionally and/or up to 20lbs/9kg of force frequently, and/or up to 10lbs/4kgs of force constantly to move objects.
