Job description

Great opportunity to work as a Production Operative for our client, one of the UK's largest producers of pork.

Staffline is recruiting Production Operatives in Bodmin.

The pay rate is £13.05 per hour.

Overtime is available and is paid at £19.58 per hour.

This is a part‑time role working a fixed shift, Monday to Friday. The hours of work are:

4pm to 12am.

Your Time at Work
  • Working with the rest of the team on the line to fulfil specification, quantity and time requirements for production.
  • Keep up to speed with the production line and work to the standards set by the line manager.
  • Fully understand different quality requirements and customer specifications for raw/sliced/cooked/boxed product/labels etc.
  • Visually examine product for quality, rejecting any unsuitable product and bringing issues to the Attention of the team Leader/production Leader/production controller.
Our Perfect Worker

Our ideal Production Operative is comfortable working in chilled or hot temperatures and standing on their feet for long periods of time. You should also be happy to handle uncooked meat.

No previous experience is necessary as a Production Operative as full training is provided.

PPE is provided for you, but it is advised that you wear warm clothing while on site.
