Production Operative - Roof Truss & Joist Manufacturing

Working hours:
Monday to Thursday: 08:00 – 17:00 & Friday:06:00 – 15:00

Prestige Recruitment Specialists are proud to be working in partnership with a well-established and growing manufacturing business specialising in timber construction solutions. We are currently recruiting Production Operatives to support their operations in the manufacturing of Roof Trusses, Joists, and Timber Frame Panels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assisting in the manufacturing of Roof Trusses, Joists, and Timber Frame Panels as required.
  • Following manufacturing layout drawings and instructions accurately and efficiently.
  • Handling and cutting timber materials with care and precision.
  • Loading and unloading deliveries in line with company procedures.
  • Ensuring compliance with all health & safety rules, including correct PPE usage and safe working practices.
  • Supporting the wider team to meet production targets and business needs.
  • Occasionally assisting with deliveries or collections of materials.
  • Taking part in stocktakes and ensuring efficient material usage to reduce waste.
Ideal Candidate
  • Experience in a manufacturing or construction environment is essential – Training will be provided.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands‑on environment.
  • Reliable, hardworking, and a strong team player.
  • Good attention to detail and ability to follow technical drawings or layouts.
  • Must be able to adhere to health and safety requirements.
