Nightshift Production Operatives – Woodyard Environment

Location: Donington
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 18:45 – 06:45
Start Date: ASAP

About the Role:

You’ll be working as a Production Operative within a busy woodyard environment, supporting the manufacturing process and ensuring high standards of quality and safety are maintained at all times. This is a temporary ongoing position which may lead to permanent employment for the right person.

Required Criteria:
  • Good understanding of spoken and written English (essential for Health & Safety compliance)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Basic machine setting knowledge
  • Excellent attendance and timekeeping
  • A willingness to learn and take on new skills
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions
  • Self‑motivated, adaptable, and able to work under pressure
Desirable Skills (Not Essential, But Beneficial):
  • Beamsaw operation
  • Multi‑spindle moulder
  • Industrial paint line
  • Cross‑cutting (X/Cut) machinery
  • 3 and 5‑axis CNC machines
  • Combi‑lift operation (valid accredited certificate required)
