Job description
About the role

We’re looking for a Cold Brew Production Operativeto join our production team, someone who takes genuine pride in crafting exceptional coffee, batch after batch. You’ll play a key role in producing our cold brew range, ensuring every batch meets our standards for quality, consistency, and freshness.

Working closely with our capsule and roastery teams, you’ll operate and maintain brewing and packaging equipment, monitor production processes, and uphold the highest hygiene standards. It’s hands‑on, technical work that demands care, precision, and teamwork.

We welcome applicants from both production and coffee backgrounds, whether you’ve worked in beverage manufacturing or as an experienced barista with a well‑developed palate and curiosity for the craft behind cold brew.

What you’ll do
  • Operate cold brew production and packaging systems safely and efficiently.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and complete accurate batch and quality records.
  • Monitor parameters such as temperature, flow, and extraction time to maintain quality.
  • Perform CIP (clean‑in‑place) and sanitation routines to food‑grade standards.
  • Assist in troubleshooting minor mechanical or process issues.
  • Support continuous improvement in processes, yields, and waste reduction.
  • Keep production areas organised, clean, and audit‑ready.
  • Collaborate with team members across production to ensure smooth operations.
Who you are

You’re methodical, detail‑focused, and enjoy the rhythm of production work. You care about doing things right, every time, whether that’s checking the clarity of a brew or maintaining spotless equipment. You stay calm under pressure and bring a steady, thoughtful approach to your work.

You come from a food or beverage production background, or from a coffee background with a developed palate and deep appreciation for flavour. Either way, you’re curious and keen to learn more about the craft and science behind cold brew.

What you’ll bring
  • 1–3 years’ experience in beverage or food production, including coffee, breweries, dairy, or soft drinks, is ideal.
  • Having experience as a barista with a strong understanding of flavour, quality, and brewing craft is a bonus.
  • Hands‑on familiarity with automated or semi‑automated filling and packaging systems (preferred).
  • Proven ability to follow SOPs, complete records, and maintain hygiene standards.
  • Experience in SALSA, BRCGS, or HACCP‑governed environments (preferred).
  • Understanding of food hygiene, traceability, and sanitation procedures.
  • A practical mechanical aptitude and confidence in troubleshooting minor issues.
  • Team‑oriented mindset and clear communication skills.
What success looks like
  • Every batch of cold brew meets our quality and consistency standards.
  • Production runs are efficient, accurate, and well‑documented.
  • Equipment is maintained, clean, and ready for use at all times.
  • You communicate clearly, solve problems early, and support your teammates.
  • You take ownership of your area and show pride in producing something exceptional.
