Job summary

Gill Cooke Personnel Ltd T/A The Recruitment Group is recruiting Production Operatives for a growing global manufacturing partner. This role is hands-on, involving assembly, finishing, and inspection of high-quality products, with opportunities to learn and progress within the company.

The ideal candidate has practical experience with tools, good mechanical aptitude, and a positive attitude. Training is provided, and a supportive team environment values quality and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Hands-on, practical approach with mechanical aptitude.
• Experience using hand or power tools is advantageous.
• Engineering/Mechanics/Carpentry qualification beneficial but not essential.
• Manufacturing/assembly/workshop experience desirable but not essential.
• Positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of production team to assemble, prepare, finish, and inspect products.
• Assist with assembly and finishing of moulded components to high quality standards.
• Prepare mouldings in line with production schedules.
• Support the preparation and bonding of products.
• Carry out cutting, grinding and finishing processes.
• Produce sub-assemblies as required.

Responsibilities

• Working as part of the production team, you will be involved in the assembly, preparation, finishing, and inspection of high-quality products.
• Assisting with the assembly and finishing of moulded components to high quality standards.
• Preparing mouldings in line with production schedules.
• Supporting the preparation and bonding of products.

The ideal applicant will have
