The Best Connection are recruiting for a team of Production Operatives for our client in Darlington. Are looking to be part of a forward thinking business then this is great opportunity for you?

We are looking for motivated Production Operatives to join our clients sleek and smooth operating production team during a period of growth. This is a great entry-level opportunity for individuals who want to start or grow a career as a Production Operative. Full training will be provided, and motivated team members have excellent opportunities to develop and progress within the business.

Responsibilities
  • Operate injection moulding machines (40-800 tonnes)
  • Load and unload materials and finished products
  • Conduct visual and basic dimensional checks on parts
  • Prepare products for dispatch and maintain accurate production records
  • Perform basic machine start-up, shutdown, and maintenance tasks
  • Identify and report faults or quality issues
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace
  • Follow all company and health & safety procedures
  • Assist with tool changes and setups when required
The candidate
  • Excellent attention to detail and pride in your work
  • Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks
  • Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn
  • Strong team player; able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive attitude and adaptability to production demands
  • FLT Counterbalance and/or Reach Truck experience helpful but not essential
  • Previous manufacturing or injection moulding experience beneficial but not required

Production operative ,Manufacturing or FLT experience beneficial, but entry-level applicants encouraged to apply

Hours & Pay Rates
  • £12.21ph
  • Shifts: 3 rotating shifts 10pm - 6am; 6am - 2pm & 2pm - 10pm (backward rotation - nights, days, back shift)
  • No Saturday or Sunday daytime work so you have life/work balance
