Job summary

A manufacturing company in Moira is seeking a team member for injection moulding production. You will ensure quality standards are met while counting, packing, and assembling plastic components. Previous experience in manufacturing is preferred but not required. The role offers up to 25 flexible hours per week with competitive hourly pay.

THE EMPLOYER IS: Plastics 2000 LtdWe are an injection moulding manufacturer, making plastic components for a range of industries. Reporting to the Production Supervisor you will work as a member of a fast-paced production team, ensuring targets are met and quality standards are adhered to.

Responsibilities
  • Counting, packing and labelling of finished goods for dispatch.
  • Using hand power tools, (drill & rivet gun) to assemble plastic components.
  • Working across all aspects of production operations, ensuring that deadlines are met.
  • Ensure products are produced to appropriate quality standards.
  • Ensure Health & Safety standards are adhered to at all times.
  • Maintain a safe, organised and efficient work area.
  • Ensure efficient production flow and make suggestions as to how workflow could be improved.
  • Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with quality and safety regulations.
  • Work efficiently to production targets.
  • Escalate issues to line management as required.

  • Able to multi-task in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Able to work on foot for extended periods of time.
