Job summary

Kingdom People is recruiting production operatives to work at our client site in Middleton (M24 2RW). Roles involve packing cushions and quilts, feeding materials on production lines, and loading/unloading products while following health and safety procedures.

Multiple shift patterns available including Summer and Winter Days/Nights with varying weekly days. Opportunities for permanent contracts after 12 weeks; free parking and onsite canteen provided.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining high housekeeping standards and following safety procedures.

• Summer DAYS -Production Operatives: 07:30am to 5:30pm (4 days per week)

Location: Middleton - Stake Hill

Job: Production operatives needed.

Shift Pattern

• Summer DAYS -Production Operatives: 07:30am to 5:30pm (4 days per week)


• Winter DAYS -Production Operatives: 07:30am to 5:30pm (5 days per week)


• Summer NIGHTS -Production Operatives: 8:00PM to 6:00AM (5 days per week)


• Winter NIGHTS -Production Operatives: 07:30am to 6:00AM (5 days per week)

Pay Rates

• Production Operatives Days: £12.71


• Production Operatives Nights: £13.71


• Overtime may be available during busy periods and is paid 150% of basic rate.

Role Description

Various roles are available.

Main Responsibilities May Include

• Packing cushions and quilts


• Feeding fibres and filings materials into textile covers on production lines.


• Compressing finished products and packing/wrapping them according to customer orders


• Loading and unloading products safely and efficiently.


• Working across different production lines


• Performing repetitive tasks throughout the day, with some roles requiring physical fitness and stamina due to the nature of the products.


• Following health and safety procedures and maintaining high housekeeping standards.

Additional opportunities may be available for candidates with experience or qualifications: Sewing, machine operation, licenced driving (VNA, FLT, reach truck, Bendi).
