TRS Ltd requires an experienced Production Operative in the Collyhurst area of Manchester, UK. All applicants must be able to commute daily to our client’s site.

Pay per hour

£12.90 per hour, paid weekly.

Hours

Monday to Thursday 08:00 to 17:00 & Friday 08:00 to 12:00.

Client

Our client is a European leading manufacturer of materials to assist the packing industry (Paper conversion and packaging industry).

About the Role

As a Production operative you will be responsible for:

• Running and operating various machines at different stages of the production process
• Loading materials onto the production line
• Undertaking basic routine maintenance
• Loading and unloading of deliveries
• Palletising and wrapping products
• Maintaining good housekeeping standards
• Carrying out basic quality audit checks
• Contributing ideas for continuous improvement
• Keeping within SOP and adapting to industry and company Health & Safety policy
• Looking after those around you whilst reporting issues to shift engineers when they arise.

There will also be an aspect of packaging, loading and unloading goods; a valid FLT Reach/CB/Clamp would be beneficial but is not essential.

Contract

Temporary to permanent; permanent after 12-13 weeks successful employment. Full-time contracts offered.
