Job summary

Hilton Foods UK in Huntingdon is seeking a Production Operative for the day shift on a 4-on/4-off cycle (6am–6pm). You will operate on a production line, pack meat according to specifications, and work efficiently to maintain quality standards.

Responsibilities include inspecting meat cuts, aligning packaging with display requirements, ensuring correct pack weights, and rejecting items outside spec. A solid team player with attention to detail is prized.

Job description

Role title: Production Operative - Day Shift

Salary: £13.57 per hour

Shift / Working hours: 4 on 4 off, 6am - 6pm

Location: Hilton Foods, Huntingdon

About the role

We are now looking for Production Operatives, for day shift, to work on a production line and pack meat in line with specification and always work in an efficient manner.

As a Production Operative your role responsibilities will include

• Checking the cuts of meat to ensure that they are in line with specifications
• Arranging meat in packaging, complying with display requirements set out in product specifications
• Ensuring that the pack weight is correct and in line with specifications
• Rejecting any items including packaging and meats that look to be outside of the parameters set out in the product specifications
