Assembly Operator

Location: Hertford, Hertfordshire

Hours: 8:15am - 4:45pm (1:15pm on a Friday) 37.5 hrs a week

Salary: £12.50 (Temp-to-perm)

A leading manufacturer and supplier of high‑quality medical devices and equipment is currently seeking dedicated and skilled individuals to join their team as Production/Factory Operators. Our client is based in an immaculate new facility, with modern technological appliances, so candidates must be proficient in assembling intricate parts. If you are detail‑oriented, have a strong work ethic, and are passionate about contributing to the healthcare industry, we invite you to apply for this position.

Responsibilities
  • Pick parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials, then assemble.
  • Assemble devices by examining connections for correct fit.
  • Verify specifications by testing manufactured products and produce Test Certificate.
  • Print labels with batch information and affix to products.
  • Prepare packaging ready for dispatch.
  • Work in small teams to ensure the work is being completed promptly and to the best of your ability.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production/factory environment is preferred but not essential.
  • Good manual dexterity and the ability to handle small components with precision.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and production tracking.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Willingness to work in a fast‑paced and dynamic environment.
  • Must be able to commute to Hertford.
