Job description

We have a fantastic opportunity for you to work with our client as a full-time Production Operative in a well-established operation in Grimsby DN37 9TS.

Pay Rates and Typical Working Hours

• Packout Operatives pay rates : Standard : £12.53p / h | Nights : £13.03 p / h (from 10:00pm to 6am) | Overtime : £16.66 p / h
• Skilled - Batching, Cooking, High Risk positions, training provided from day 1 : Standard : £13.52 p / h | Nights : £14.02 p / h (from 10:00pm to 6am) | Overtime : £17.98 p / h

Shift Pattern Days and Nights in rotation

• Flexible shifts available - 12 hours shifts
• Mornings 06:00-18:00
• Nights 18:00-06:00
• Weekend shifts available Days or Nights

What do we expect from you as a Production Operative

• Have a Basic Food Safety Knowledge or Food Safety Level 2 (Cert)
• Be able to clearly communicate - Good standard of written and spoken English, to be able to communicate with managers and colleagues, follow direction / requests and be able to read any written instructions clearly
• Respect at work : Respect your colleagues and managers (treat others how you wish to be treated) and adhere to the site code of conduct
• Respect company property
• Adhere to Food Safety rules, policies, and procedure
• Adhere to Health and Safety rules, policies, and procedures on site
• Report any near misses or hazards to your manager - Protect yourself and protect others…see it, say it, report it!
• Ability to work under pressure
