Pertemps are delighted to be recruiting Production Operatives for a well-established and growing business based in Renfrew. This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity for someone with hands‑on experience who enjoys practical, assembly-based work.

The Role

Working as part of a skilled production team, you will be involved in the assembly and build of generators, ensuring all products meet high quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assembling generators using hand and power tools
  • Reading and following basic engineering drawings and work instructions
  • Carrying out quality checks to ensure high standards are met
  • Supporting the production line to meet daily targets
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area
  • Working collaboratively with team members and supervisors
What we are looking for
  • Previous production, assembly, or manufacturing experience
  • Confident using hand tools
  • A strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Reliability and a positive, team‑focused attitude
Working Hours
  • Monday to Friday
  • 7:00am – 3:00pm with early finish on Fridays
Pay & Benefits
  • £12.37 per hour for the first 12 weeks
  • £13.63 per hour after 12 weeks
  • Overtime available and paid at a premium rate
  • Opportunity to secure a permanent position
