Production Operative

Paying £14.00 to £16.00 per hour - weekly pay - regular ongoing work

Hours of work are:

4 days on, 4 days off 6am to 6pm - work 4 days then have 4 days off then back on 4 days

Foundry Work
  • General labouring
  • Knocking off castings
  • Machine Operating

Pay starts at £14.00 per hour - increases to £16.00 per hour after 12 weeks

Based in Brownhillsarea

Duties of a Production Operative
  • Will be doing basic duties within the foundry
  • Using hammers to knock off casting
  • Inspecting and dressing the moulds
  • Machine Operating
  • Grinding, Deburring
  • Working to targets
Experience required for a Production Operative
  • Previous factory work / machine operating work
  • Physical, heavy work
  • Hand tools - grinders or
  • Previous manufacturing and production experience an advantage - but training is provided
Details of a Production Operative
  • Day Shift is 4 days on - 4 days off - 6am to 6pm Pay for days starts at £14.00 per hour - increases to £16.00 per hour after 12 weeks (will involve working weekends)
