Production Operative

Great opportunity to work as a Production Operative for our client, one of the UK's largest producers of pork.

Staffline is recruiting Production Operatives in Bodmin.

The rate of pay is £12.40 per hour, with overtime available at £18.60 per hour.

This is a full‑time role working Monday to Friday. Working hours: 7 am to 4:30 pm.

Your Time at Work
  • Working with the rest of the team on the line to fulfil specification, quantity and time requirements for production.
  • Keeping up to speed with the production line and work to the standards set by the line manager.
  • Fully understanding different quality requirements and customer specifications for raw, sliced, cooked, boxed product and labels.
  • Visually examining the product for quality, rejecting any unsuitable product, and bringing issues to the attention of the team leader/ production leader/ production controller.

  • Comfortable working in chilled or hot temperatures and standing on their feet for long periods of time.
  • Happy to handle uncooked meat.
  • Basic English skills and reliability.
  • Your own transport is required.
  • No previous experience is necessary; full training will be provided.
