Job Title: Production Operative

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our Milton team as a Production Operative. The role involves overseeing the manufacturing of concrete building blocks for both commercial and domestic markets.

Your responsibilities include ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all plant and equipment, with training provided for various production processes such as concrete batching, manufacturing and packaging, and mobile plant operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Health & Safety: Maintain high safety standards, adhere to safety protocols, report concerns, and ensure proper use and maintenance of PPE, tools, and equipment.
• Quality Systems: Complete process control sheets, adhere to quality requirements, and collaborate on sustainability initiatives.

About You

• Organized and safety-conscious
• Willing to be trained in operating manufacturing machinery
• Knowledge of health and safety legislation
• Ability to manage varied workloads and work independently or as part of a team
• Literacy and Numeracy at GCSE level or equivalent
• Factory experience is advantageous
