Job summary

Randstad Construction and Property is seeking a Machine Operator to join a busy Crumlin manufacturing facility on a temp-to-perm basis. You will load and run machines, monitor quality, and perform basic maintenance during 4-on/4-off rotations with day and night shifts.

Immediate starts available for suitable candidates living within 30 minutes of NP11 4EG. Base pay is complemented by weekly attendance bonuses and paid breaks, with a total up to £13.86/hr.

Qualifications

• Experience in a factory or fast-paced production environment.
• Must have reliable transport and live within 30 minutes of NP11 4EG.
• Must hold valid Right to Work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Load machines with raw materials and operate machinery (including semi-automatic operation once trained).
• Monitor production with high attention to detail to ensure product quality and continuous fault checking.
• Perform basic machine maintenance, cleaning down workstations, and using cleaning solvents on mouldings where required.
• Handle manual tasks including trimming activities, stacking, and loading pallets to correct quantities.
• Wrap finished pallets and move them to storage using a manual pump truck/pallet trolley.
• Run multiple machines effectively once fully trained.
• Comply with all company health and safety policies.

Hours: 4-on / 4-off rotation (2 Days: 6am-6pm, 2 Nights: 6pm-6am)

Pay: Up to £13.86/hr overall including weekly attendance bonus (£12.71/hr base + paid breaks)

Requirements

• Experience: Previous experience working within a factory or fast-paced production environment.
• Transport: Reliable personal transport/ability to drive is essential due to location (must reside within 30 minutes of NP11 4EG).
• Right to Work: Candidates must hold full ongoing Right to Work in the UK without visa restrictions (due to the permanent nature of the contract).
• Attitude: Positive, enthusiastic, upbeat attitude with a genuine drive to secure permanent work (MD interview required).
• PPE: Must provide your own safety boots (Hi-Vis will be provided).
