A leading staffing agency in the UK is seeking a Production Manager/Senior Technician to oversee production processes and manage a team. The successful Production Manager will require technical abilities, and experience with automation

Candidates from an engineering background are ideal for this role, Mechanical or Electrical

You will play a vital role in ensuring that production operations run smoothly

This role is hands-in, and most of your time will be spent on the shop floor, however, you will have full management responsibilities

70/30 shop floor/office

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Oversee and manage all aspects of the production process
  • Implement and monitor operational plans and schedules
  • Ensure compliance with HSE regulations, industry standards, and company policies
  • Evaluate production performance data, including efficiency, output, and product quality
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs
  • Lead, mentor, and develop team members, promoting a culture of teamwork and continuous learning
  • Responsible for maintenance costs and quality output
Knowledge/skills:
  • Qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is desirable
  • Knowledge of MS office
  • Knowledge of process automation
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Management experience
  • P & L experience
  • Process driven
Working hours

Monday-Friday-Day shift, Hello Weekends!!!!

8am-4.30pm

Salary £36,700

You may be required to travel to other UK depots for onboarding and training
