An exciting opportunity for an experienced Manufacturing Production Manager to join a dynamic, fast-paced manufacturing environment, leading a team to deliver efficient, high-quality production performance while maintaining safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.

SALARY: £50,000 to £55,000 per annum + Benefits (see below)

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Manufacturing Production Manager to oversee daily manufacturing operations and drive efficiency across the site. As a Manufacturing Production Manager you’ll ensure that all production targets are achieved, maintaining the highest standards of quality, output, and safety. You’ll lead and develop a multi‑skilled team, fostering a culture of responsibility, teamwork, and continuous improvement. The Manufacturing Production Manager will plan and manage production schedules, optimise resources, and collaborate with on‑site customers and internal departments to deliver exceptional results in a busy FMCG manufacturing environment.

DUTIES
  • Oversee Daily Production: Maximise efficiency, output, and profitability while resolving process issues
  • Plan and Manage Schedules: Allocate resources effectively and authorise overtime where needed
  • Collaborate With Stakeholders: Act as a key point of contact with on‑site customers and internal teams
  • Monitor and Report: Analyse production data and prepare operational and financial reports for management
  • Lead and Develop Teams: Recruit, train and motivate staff to achieve departmental goals
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Reduce downtime, minimise waste and enhance operational performance
  • Ensure Compliance: Promote and maintain safe working practices and environmental standards
  • Implement Procedures: Ensure all policies are up to date and consistently applied across all shifts
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
  • Proven experience of working in a fast‑paced manufacturing or production environment at managerial level
  • Experience with Extrusion Blow Moulding or Stretch Blow Moulding technology (highly advantageous)
  • Strong people‑management and leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Background in FMCG manufacturing with solid understanding of safe working practices
  • Technical understanding of machinery and engineering processes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data reporting tools
