Job summary

Horizon Search & Selection Ltd is seeking an experienced Production Manager for their Haverhill site. The role runs from 8:30am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday, with a salary around £50,000 per year depending on skills and experience.

You will lead a roughly 15-person multi-disciplinary team and drive continuous improvement across manufacturing processes. The company designs and builds electro-mechanical machinery globally, with ambitious plans to grow capacity and output.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Production Manager in high-volume engineering/manufacturing.
• Strong leadership and people-management capabilities.
• Experience using ERP systems for production planning and tracking.
• Familiarity with ISO quality standards.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Production team to ensure optimal performance.
• Oversee production planning and scheduling.
• Identify and resolve production issues and drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure safety compliance and control costs across the line.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality Assurance and Supply Chain to streamline processes.
• Utilise ERP to monitor metrics and generate reports for management.
