Job summary

Realise HR is seeking a Production Manager for a UK fine chemicals manufacturing facility. You will lead a safety-first, 24/7 operation, delivering production to plan while upholding QHSE and COMAH standards.

You will drive Manufacturing Excellence, partner with Engineering and NPD/CIP, and develop a high-performing production leadership team to achieve ATP targets and continuous improvement gains.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical Engineering with strong process safety knowledge.
• 8–10 years’ experience in chemical manufacturing with leadership responsibility.
• Experience on a COMAH-regulated site is strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to deliver production plans, improve OEE, yield, and cost metrics.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day and medium-term production delivery to ATP/plan.
• Ensure safe, compliant operation with QHSE and COMAH standards.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance, QHSE, Supply Chain and Logistics to maximise plant availability.
• Develop and coach the production leadership team; manage succession and development.
• Maintain documentation and records in line with IMS requirements.
