Position: Machine Shop Manager

Location: Waterlooville

Salary: £55,000 per annum, based on a 45‑hour working week.

Job Overview
  • Allocating jobs in the workshop to the team of manual & CNC machinists.
  • Overseeing quality controls of parts.
  • Providing the machinists with technical advice and support with programming.
  • Assisting with project management, estimating and the purchasing of materials.
  • Producing progress reports on jobs.
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Job Requirements
  • Proven background within production management.
  • Good understanding / experience with CNC Programming, setting & operating.
  • Experience with CAD/CAM software is desirable.
  • Understanding of quality assurance processes.
  • Good planning & scheduling skills.
Salary & Benefits
  • Salary: £55,000 per annum.
  • Working hours: Monday to Friday 07:30 - 17:00 (45‑hour working week).
