Production Manager

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental procedures
  • Lead and coach operational shift teams, ensuring accurate reporting and prompt action on equipment defects and alarms
  • Manage site production costs, including consumables, utilities, reagents, and waste disposal
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement using KPIs and lean manufacturing principles
  • Ensure effective execution and communication of production and logistics plans
  • Act as a visible leader, motivating and engaging teams across all levels
About You
  • Degree-level education or extensive relevant experience in the chemical or process industries
  • NEBOSH Process Safety Certificate or other recognised Health & Safety qualification (preferred)
  • Minimum 2 years' management experience within a chemical industry setting (ideally CoMAH regulated)
  • At least 4 years of experience leading operational teams
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills
  • Proven track record in fostering a continuous improvement culture
  • Analytical, structured, and decisive approach to problem-solving
