Production Manager

Production Manager Salary: Up to £60,000 + 10% Guaranteed Bonus
Sector: FMCG / Food Manufacturing

An ambitious, fast‑growing food manufacturing business is seeking a dynamic and people‑focused Production Manager to lead a large, high‑performing production team.

  • Process design and best practice
  • Production output and efficiency
  • Continuous development of production staff, including recruitment, training, retention, promotion and disciplinary issues
  • Manage and evaluate people resources to ensure productivity and reaching business targets related to H, S, E, quality, delivery and cost
  • Oversee a workforce of employees in the Assembly department
  • Ensure that all products are assembled in accordance with the standard work instructions and meet the required quality standards
  • Strive to reduce costs and increase productivity across all product lines
  • Ensure that the department operates in compliance with Keeler quality systems and passes all regulatory on‑site inspections
  • Communicate production goals and actual results to employees across the Assembly department
  • Provide motivation, support and guidance to all employees
  • Communicate any problems or obstacles to senior management
  • Establish workflow policies that enhance speed and efficiency without compromising product safety or integrity
  • Create schedules for employees to ensure optimum staffing levels
  • Support Technical Service Team in repairing customers’ products in agreed time scales
