Salary: Up to £66,000 per annum

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Production Manager to join a high-volume, precision manufacturing organisation.

The Role

You ll lead and manage a shift, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality operations. The role carries full accountability for achieving key operational KPIs, driving continuous improvement, and fostering a proactive, performance-driven culture across your team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead day-to-day operations to achieve targets across quality, cost, delivery, safety, and morale.
  • Manage and develop supervisors and operators through coaching, mentoring, and structured performance reviews.
  • Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence using QCDMS principles.
  • Ensure effective shift planning, manpower management, and compliance with safety and HR processes.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver departmental and strategic objectives.
About You
  • Qualified to Level 5 (or equivalent) in Operations Management or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or frontline management role within a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of QCDMS, continuous improvement tools, and KPI management.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Confident in managing people, processes, and performance to deliver results.
