Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a Production Manager to join our UK Nestlé Waters & Premium Beverage team at our Princes Gate site in Narberth, Pembrokeshire. As a leading bottler of premium mineral and local waters, our purpose is to unlock the regenerative power of water to enhance the quality of life for everyone, today and for generations to come.

Responsibilities
  • Drive Manufacturing Excellence.
  • Ensure that the health & safety culture and conditions for a safe working environment are constantly part of the manufacturing objectives.
  • Ensure that finished products are consistently manufactured according to standards of quality (compliance), on time, and meeting consumer expectations.
  • Manage production effectively through operational reviews and use standard routines to ensure sustainable results and drive continuous improvement to deliver breakthrough results.
  • Ensure development of department team and staff – through engaging and empowering people, performance management, career development, succession planning and coaching.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience within a leadership role in an operational role within a complex, fast‑paced FMCG production environment.
  • People management and development experience including employee relations.
  • Experience of TPM and Lean manufacturing is essential.
  • You will be a credible, approachable and strong character – able to gain the buy‑in of key stakeholders on site and across the wider business and flex your style depending on the audience.
  • Experience managing change programmes.
  • Strong belief in the importance of H&S within manufacturing/engineering.
  • Ability to ensure smooth operation through effective staff management.
  • Ability to communicate across all levels and work on own initiative.
