A leading ethical food manufacturer in South Devon is seeking an experienced Production Manager to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands‑on leader who's passionate about people, quality, and continuous improvement.

The successful candidate will oversee a busy production operation, managing and developing a team of Supervisors to deliver consistent performance, efficiency, and product quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach, and support Production Supervisors to achieve targets and maintain high standards.
  • Oversee day‑to‑day factory operations, ensuring smooth workflow and minimal downtime.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement and Lean initiatives to boost efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Maintain compliance with food safety, health & safety, and company standards (BRCGS, HACCP, allergen management).
  • Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Planning teams to deliver business goals.
  • Promote a positive, safe, and inclusive working culture.
