The Production Manager will oversee the end-to-end production process, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality garments. This role involves managing relationships with suppliers, manufacturers while maintaining detailed control of timelines, materials, and budgets.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage production timelines and critical paths from sampling to final delivery
- Being a key contact for factories we work with both in the UK, EU and Turkey
- Oversee the end-to-end production process, from fit sessions to final production. Ensure adherence to strict timelines and delivering exceptional quality.
- Collaborating with studio team, pattern cutters and design team to ensure seamless coordination and execution
- Oversee quality control of garments at all stages of production
- Material sourcing for all seasonal production along with the personal orders
- Research new suppliers and production partners
- Manage the production critical path, liaising with factories and suppliers to place PO’s and ensure timely delivery.
- Working closely with the sales team to ensure goods are delivered on time
- Support the design team during collection development with technical and sourcing input
- Ensure that all production meets brand standards for quality and craftsmanship throughout all products
- Coordinate and attend fittings and studio reviews when necessary
- Negotiating on factory costs ensuring to hit the margin target across all products.
- Reviewing the overall margin of a collection to ensure the correct margin is being hit, aiding KPIs.
- Monitor Purchase Order progress with regular supplier meetings including factory visits.
- Working across womenswear, swimwear and couture ensuring all product is made and delivered on time.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in fashion production, ideally in luxury or high-end fashion
- Strong knowledge of garment construction, pattern cutting, and manufacturing processes
- Excellent project management and organisational skills
- London-based and available to travel locally and internationally for factory and supplier visits
- Comfortable working with small production runs
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- A proactive and adaptable approach in a fast-paced studio environment
- Familiarity with sustainable or artisanal production techniques
