As a Production Manager, you'll lead the day-to-day operations of our maintenance and overhaul facility-planning schedules, managing skilled teams, and ensuring high standards of safety, quality, and performance. You'll drive operational excellence, deliver projects on time and budget, and play a key role in shaping the future of rail reliability.

Responsibilities

• Manage, own and be accountable for all aspects of production within a department and deliver products to an agreed schedule.
• Liaise with Planning, Resource management and other departments to develop a schedule to satisfy customer demand.
• Using the agreed schedule from the planning department, review, request and manage required headcount from the resource management team.
• Constantly review progress against schedules to provide early and good communications to internal customers and stakeholders.
• Contribute to tendering activities as appropriate.
• Accountable for headcount volume management.
• Control costs and seek efficiency improvements within the department.
• Communicate effectively and demonstrate the company values.
• Ensure all employees comply with statutory and company regulations.
• Control and improve health & safety of employees within the owned department.
