An ambitious, fast-growing food manufacturing business is seeking a dynamic and people-focused Production Manager to lead a large, high‑performing production team through an exciting phase of growth and continuous improvement. This is a career‑defining opportunity for an experienced Production Manager who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and wants to make a real impact.

The Opportunity

The Production Manager will take full ownership of day‑to‑day manufacturing operations, leading up to 100 colleagues and driving best‑in‑class standards across safety, quality, efficiency and team development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and embed a zero‑harm Health & Safety culture
  • Deliver all manufacturing KPIs across output, waste, quality and service
  • Drive continuous improvement through LEAN and CI methodologies
  • Ensure food safety, GMP and audit readiness at all times
  • Lead quality performance and complaint reduction
  • Oversee the introduction of new products from trial to launch
  • Improve equipment reliability in partnership with Engineering and TPM
  • Maintain service levels consistently above 99%
  • Control material variance and drive waste to near zero
  • Develop clear standards, structure, training and succession within the team
  • Lead performance management, appraisals and ongoing coaching
  • Ensure full compliance with H&S, Food Safety, Legal and Quality standards
The Person
  • Proven experience as a Production Manager or Senior Production Leader in FMCG manufacturing
  • Strong people leadership experience within high‑volume manufacturing
  • Well‑versed in LEAN / Continuous Improvement
  • Data‑driven decision maker with strong analytical skills
  • Strong understanding of food safety, GMP and quality systems
  • Commercially and financially aware
  • Confident communicator at all levels of the business
  • Highly organised, driven and adaptable
