Production Line Leader - Nights

Location: March, Cambridgeshire
Salary: £30,451 - £33,734 per annum (DOE) + 4% salary increase in January
Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:45pm-6:00am (finish 6am Saturday morning)
Employment: Permanent | Full-time | Nights

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Production Line Leader (Nights) to take ownership of a night-shift production line. You will ensure products are manufactured efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards, while leading and developing your team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage production lines to meet planned volumes in line with QA and safety standards.
  • Ensure all production documentation and system records are accurate and complete.
  • Maintain excellent GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and "clean as you go" standards.
  • Achieve consistent line efficiency targets of at least 85%.
  • Carry out basic machine setup and adjustment tasks as required.
  • Train, guide, and motivate team members to perform at their best.
  • Ensure strict adherence to quality, health, safety, and production planning procedures.
About You
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production line environment (food industry desirable).
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of GMP, health & safety, and PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance).
  • Confident in monitoring performance and maintaining documentation.
  • Positive, proactive, and team-focused.
