Production Line Leader – Nights
Location: March, Cambridgeshire
Salary: £30,451 – £33,734 (plus annual salary increase, benefits & training)
Hours: Night shift | Monday to Friday | 9:45pm – 6:00am (finish Saturday morning)
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

Are you a motivated leader with experience in production or manufacturing? We are seeking a Production Line Leader to join a well-established and growing business within the food packaging industry. With over two decades of market presence, this organisation provides innovative packaging solutions for household-name brands across the UK.

Your Role:

As a Night Shift Production Line Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the operation of high-speed production lines to meet planned volumes efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and lead a production line team to meet targets and uphold quality standards.

Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and health & safety protocols.

Complete accurate paperwork and digital records in line with internal procedures.

Support and conduct basic machine set-up and troubleshooting tasks.

Maintain line efficiency at a minimum of 85% across various machine/product combinations.

Identify training needs and support the development of team members.

About You:

Previous experience leading or supervising a production line in a manufacturing environment.

Strong communication and leadership skills.

Hands-on and proactive attitude with attention to detail.
