Production Lead (CNC) – Bristol

Do you have experience with supervising production operations? Do you have a background in CNC Milling or Turning? Kingston Barnes has a fantastic opportunity for a Production Lead for one of our manufacturing clients in the Bristol area. Our client specialises in machining complex machined parts for the aerospace industry and is looking for a Production Lead to oversee production to ensure safety, quality, and output targets are met.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise the shopfloor staff to ensure tasks are completed to required standards and schedules
  • Monitor and report on shift performance
  • Drive and support Total productive maintenance activities
  • Promote lean manufacturing principles
  • Be the point of liaison between the shop floor and management
  • Complete accurate shift handover reports, production logs, and incident records
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment
  • Assist in setting and operating CNC machines when required
About you
  • A proven background in leadership within a precision manufacturing environment
  • Experienced CNC background
  • Ability to motivated and guide a team
