Production Foreman – Refrigeration Assembly & Production Lines

Buford, GA

Production Foreman / Assembly Foreman / Line Foreman

Production Foreman is required to lead day-to‑day activity across manual assembly, brazing, wiring, and testing operations. This role oversees four newly appointed Line Leads and a team of approximately 25 production staff, ensuring discipline, workflow stability, and consistent build standards across all product lines.

This position is ideal for a hands‑on floor leader who understands assembly environments and can provide the structure, authority, and direction needed to guide a developing team. You will be the primary on‑the‑floor point of control, maintaining standards, resolving issues, and supporting improvements in training and skills development.

$22 to $30+ base salary

7 am to 3:30 pm Monday to Friday

Responsibilities
  • Lead four Line Leads across Assembly, Brazing, Wiring, and Testing.
  • Maintain strong floor presence, enforcing standards and giving clear direction.
  • Drive consistency in workflow, conduct, and daily production discipline.
  • Oversee manual assembly of refrigeration and condensing units.
  • Support brazing, wiring, mechanical assembly, and testing activities.
  • Resolve issues quickly by reallocating labor and keeping lines balanced.
  • Ensure adherence to build instructions, takttime, and quality checks.
  • Help Line Leads build structured training and maintain a skills matrix.
  • Support cross‑training and improve onboarding for new operators.
  • Promote a disciplined, safe, and accountable work environment.
  • Lead by example with firm, fair, on‑the‑floor leadership.
  • Support continuous improvement in quality, efficiency, and communication.
Requirements
  • 3–5 years’ experience within a manufacturing or assembly environment.
  • Experience leading a small production team, line, or crew (supervisor title not required).
  • Strong understanding of manual assembly operations; brazing or wiring experience is a plus.
  • Confident in enforcing discipline and providing structured leadership to former peers and new leads.
  • Strong floor presence with the ability to guide technicians and maintain process consistency.
  • Organised communicator able to support training initiatives and skills development.
  • Reliable, steady under pressure, and committed to raising production standards.
