The Production Floor Assistant reports to the Packaging Manager and will be responsible for a number of varied and crucial packaging tasks to help carry out our mission to make the best beverages in the world. This is a repetitive job well suited for an individual who takes pride in minor details and understands their impact when considered as a collective whole in the brewery. This opportunity promises an invigorating and exciting environment where good work is done so we always ask for flexibility and a sense of humor in addition to other valuable traits like intent, hard work, and good communication skills.

This is a full-time position based in Charlton, MA.

The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday 7:30am - 3:30pm, with flexibility on occasion to start earlier, with as much notice as possible.

As a Production Floor Assistant, you will be responsible for the following:

• Keg washing using our five and/or two head semi automatic Premier Stainless keg washer, keg filling, and keg dosing per our Standard Operating Procedures.
• Transport kegs via pallet jacks into the coolers and/or storage
• Review packaging schedule for daily responsibilities
• Detailed record keeping of keg inventory and packaging schedule
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment in and around the canning/bottle line, keg washing area, and cellar.
• Performing routine cleaning and maintenance when required.
• Assisting with loading and unloading bottles and cans during packaging runs
• Wax dipping bottles to packaging standards
• A number of other varied operational and brewery related tasks as necessary

Role Requirements:

• 3 years experience in comparable position, with previous experience in a production environment preferred
• You are self-motivated and hard-working, with demonstrated critical thinking capabilities
• Proven ability to exercise sound judgment in fast-paced and/or high-stress situations
• Experience with safety procedures regarding PPE and chemical handling strongly preferred
• A quick learner who is able to work with minimal or no supervision.
• Ability to work long hours on your feet, with repetitive tasks that require unrelenting focus and attention
• Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure

  The starting base hourly range for this role is $20-22/hour. Within this range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Base pay is only one component of the total compensation package, as this role is eligible for participation in the company growth bonus program and a robust benefit package.
