Job description

Role Purpose:

The Production Engineering Assistant will support the Production Engineering team by providing administrative assistance. The candidate should have a basic understanding of technical drawings and the ability to interpret simple assembly and machining tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with inputting data into the company's new ERP system for legacy products, including updating bills of operations and adding operation times for parts and assemblies.
  • Input new parts into the ERP system.
  • Support the team in loading tooling drawings and other parts onto the system to facilitate demand raising and purchasing.
  • Help other departments with updates within the ERP system as needed.
  • Take meeting notes when required.
Skills & Experience

Essential:
  • Ability to read manufacturing drawings.
  • Experience with ERP systems.
  • Good computer skills.
Desirable:
  • HNC qualification or equivalent in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Production.
  • Previous experience in a Production or Engineering role.
  • Experience with JIRA and Confluence.
