Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is supporting a fast-growing green hydrogen company in Port Talbot by recruiting a Production Engineer (Plant). You will help plan Hydrogen production against customer schedules and oversee critical plant operation.

The role covers reactive and preventative maintenance, analysing plant performance and implementing improvements, and ensuring safe, efficient operation up to 11kV.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial or process plant environments.
• Experience with electrical systems up to 11kV.
• HNC or equivalent engineering qualification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan hydrogen production to meet customer demands.
• Perform reactive and preventative maintenance on plant equipment.
• Analyse plant performance and suggest improvements.
• Configure and maintain industrial communications networks.
• Act as a Low Voltage Authorised Person.

Are you a Production Engineer, with experience in Industrial or Process Plant Manufacturing, looking for an exciting opportunity within a specialist company that offer a fantastic benefits package, including private medical cover?

This company has been established since 2019 and manufacturers green Hydrogen to power the off - grid, transport and industrial operation sectors. They are currently looking at expanding with 2 new facilities across the UK.

On a day to day you will be analysing plant performance, planning Hydrogen production against customer schedules and performing reactive and preventative maintenance on plant equipment.

This role would suit a production Engineer with a background within an industrial or process plant environment, with a genuine interest in green power and the motivation to keep a critical plant running efficiently and safely.

The Role:

• Planning Hydrogen production against customer demands
• Reactive and preventative maintenance
• Analysis of plant performance + giving ideas for improvement
• Configure and maintain industrial communications
• Acting as a Low Voltage Authorised Person

The Person:

• Experience with electrical systems up to 11kV
• HNC, equivalent degree or experience in engineering
• Genuine interest in green Hydrogen production
