Job summary

Elevation Recruitment Group are partnering with a well-established manufacturing business to recruit a Production Engineer to join their technical team. The role offers varied, hands-on responsibilities from customer drawings through to production, with genuine ownership and scope to develop.

You will develop and improve manufacturing processes, support CNC programming and tooling, troubleshoot production issues, and drive improvements in efficiency, cost and machine performance.

Qualifications

• Experience in a precision manufacturing or CNC environment.
• Able to read engineering drawings and apply tolerancing.
• Experience with tooling and workholding.
• Track record of process improvement.
• Proficient in CAD software.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve manufacturing processes and routings.
• Support CNC programming, tooling and workholding requirements.
• Troubleshoot production and quality issues.
• Drive improvements in efficiency, cost and machine performance.
• Support new product introduction and process development.
• Create and maintain manufacturing documentation.
• Work with suppliers and internal teams on technical improvements.
