Responsibilities

  • Delivery of new products.
  • Establishing new efficient and sustainable processes.
  • Represent Worcester facility within the Bosch International Production Network.
  • Lead Continuous Improvement Process for quality, cost and delivery performances.
  • Reduction of internal and external failure costs by systematic use of Zero defect techniques.
  • Responsible for implementation of Bosch Production System principles on shop floor.
  • Act responsibly and pro‑actively to ensure Safe and Environmentally friendly processes.

Job Description

We are excited to offer you the opportunity to join our Manufacturing team as a Production Engineer! Exciting opportunity to join the production engineering department at Worcester Bosch. We’re looking for a candidate who thrives on innovating and delivering improvements to make our production facility more efficient and cost effective to operate.

Responsibilities
  • Delivery of new products
  • Establishing new efficient and sustainable processes
  • Represent Worcester facility within the Bosch International Production Network (IPN)
  • Lead Continuous Improvement Process for quality, cost and delivery performances
  • Reduction of internal and external failure costs by systematic use of Zero defect techniques (Jidoka, Poke Yoke, PFMEA, Control Plan)
  • Responsible for implementation of Bosch Production System (BPS) principles on shop floor
  • Act responsibly and pro‑actively to ensure Safe and Environmentally friendly processes and workspaces according to Health and Safety regulations and internal Environmental Protection policies
Qualifications
  • A degree in an engineering / design related field

Working Hours: 39 hours a week; Mon – Thurs 08.00 - 17.00 and Fri 08.00 - 16.00 with a 1‑hour lunchbreak
